Popular actor and Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan took a break from his political work and visited Tirumala this morning. Pawan, along with Janasena's senior leader Nadendla Manohar, has taken a break darshan of Lord Venkateshwara, early in the morning today. However, the actor didn't speak to the media after the darshan.
Pawan was in Tirupati the other day to address his party workers in the city. He showered a lot of criticism on the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, during the meeting. We all know that recently a link in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam's (TTD) website redirected to the picture of Jesus. When asked about it, Jagan said that he is no religion and humanity is the only thing he believes in.
Pawan made strong remarks on Jagan's comments. He said that a person who converted from Hinduism to Christianity, should not take up caste on his name. Pawan stated that caste culture is only followed by the Hindus and not Christians. Even these words by Pawan also infuriated a lot of debates among the political circles. However, Jagan is yet to respond to these comments.
Pawan stood for the first time in this year's General elections but his party only managed to secure one seat from the total constituencies of Andhra Pradesh.
