Telugu and Punjabi actress Payal Rajput's upcoming multilingual film is titled Mangalavaram in Telugu. The film will also hit theatres in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The title of the film is Chevvaikizhamai in Tamil and Chovvazhca in Malayalam. The makers have also released the first-look poster for the film. Payal Rajput appears topless in the poster.
Mangalavaram is directed by Ajay Bhupathi, who made his directorial debut in 2018 with the blockbuster RX 100. Another film of his is Mahasamudra, which was released in 2021. Payal Rajput was the heroine in Karthikeyas RX 100. Payal's character in Mangalavaram is called Shailaja. Set in the nineties, the film is a village action thriller. Ajneesh Loknath of Kantara fame has composed the music for the film.
Payal Rajput, a native of Punjab, is coming to cinema from the television scene. She made her film debut in 2017 with the Punjabi film Channa Mereya. He made his debut in Bollywood the following year with the film Veere Ki Wedding. RX 100 is the first Telugu film. Iruvar debuted in Tamil with Ullam and in Kannada with Head Bush.
