Earlier today, the makers have unveiled the first look poster of Allu Arjun's upcoming film which is being directed by Sukumar. The film got titled Pushpa. Now, the makers have released a new poster of the film which confirmed that Allu Arjun is playing the role of a red sandalwood smuggler in the movie.
In the poster, we can see Allu Arjun getting arrested by police. We can also spot red sandalwood logs beside the actor. Thus, it is now confirmed that the film's story revolves around the smuggling in the district of Chittoor. Bunny will sport a full-bearded look in the movie. He will also speak in the Chittoor dialect in this movie. The actor is now getting trained in this accent.
The shooting of this movie was actually supposed to start by the end of March. It got postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. We now hear that Bunny will join the sets of this film by the end of June. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead in the movie. It is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music for it. The details about the rest of the cast and crew will get announced soon.
This is the third film in the combination of Allu Arjun and Sukumar. They have earlier worked together for the films Arya and Arya 2. The duo is planning to score a hat-trick with Pushpa. This film will get released in five languages and will be the first pan-Indian film of Allu Arjun.
