Plans Underway For Parthiban’s ‘Oththa Seruppu’ Hollywood Remake

Last week, the filmmaker said that his movie "Oththa Seruppu Size 7" will soon be recreated in Hollywood, while attending a reality program. Plans for the film's Hindi remake, titled "Single Slipper Size 7," featuring Abhishek Bachchan as the lead, were previously revealed by the producers. According to reports, Parthiban said that when the narrative is recast in Hindi, there would be few alterations made to reflect Abhishek Bachchan's persona. He also said that there will be modest heroism moments, but they won't be overt. Oththa Seruppu, which hit the theaters in September 2019, was a murder mystery with a limited cast and crew. The film was reportedly also remade in Indonesian, making it the second Indian film after Drishyam to be remade in that language and the first Tamil film to do so.
