Several prominent actors have dealt with bomb threats recently. Actors Rajinikanth and Vijay were among a few. Thala Ajith was also one of them. On Saturday, the Chennai Police rushed to Ajith's home after receiving a threat call about a possible bomb. After conducting a thorough search of the premises, the police concluded that the call was a hoax. The news of the bomb threat angered several fans who further demanded and advocated for the arrest of the perpetrators. Earlier today, the police traced the caller and have now apprehended him.

The police traced the call and narrowed it down to one Bhuvanesh hailing from the town of Marakkanam, Villupuram district. The apprehended man is allegedly mentally unstable. He was previously arrested when he made a similar threat call about a bomb at Thalapathy Vijay's house. The police let him go with a warning. After a repeated offence, he will face an inquiry under the jurisdiction of the Neelangarai Police.
Meanwhile, Thala Ajith is looking forward to the release of his film Valimai. Valimai is an action flick directed by Vinoth H. Boney Kapoor is producing the film under his home banner. Apart from Ajith, the film also stars Karthikeya, Huma Qureshi and Yogi Babu. Sources say that Thala Ajith has completed filming for nearly 50% of the film. Yuvan Shakar Raja is composing the film's score. Shooting might resume as soon as the COVID-19 is under control.
