Continuing the trend of building up hype, the film crew launched the teaser of Ponniyin Selvan at an ongoing grand ceremony. If the teaser is any indication, the movie promises to be a gripping tale of love, revenge, politics, and everything in-between.

The teaser offers the viewers a peek into the majestic world of the Cholas. The minute twenty-second trailer packs much background into the tight space. Cholas’ maritime history is especially emphasized from the beginning through thrilling action scenes by the seaside and warships battling it out on the seas.
