Pooja Hegde debuted in Hrithik Roshan's 2016 film Mahenjo Daro. She then went on to star opposite
Akshay Kumar in the super hit comedy-drama Housefull 4 in 2019. She has since then been busy with a number of projects down south. Rumour has it the actress might be returning to working with Akshay Kumar in his next project. The upcoming project is titled, Bachchan Pandey.
The makers of the film have however made no official statement. If the rumors are true, the film will be the duo's second collaboration after Housefull 4. When asked about the film in an interview, the actress doged the question. But she did say that if approached about the film, she will happily work on the film if the script appeals to her.

In other news, the actress is all set in appear opposite
Salman Khan in Sajid Nadiadwala's next film titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The film was scheduled to being shooting in August 2020, however, the shoot is currently on hold. The film will start shooting after the coronavirus outbreak subsides. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali will hit theaters on the occasion of Eid in 2021.

Prabhas's upcoming project tentatively titled Prabhas 20. The cast and crew halted shooting due to the COVID-19 crisis. The film will resume shooting in 7-8 months time.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar will have three releases this year. They are Raghava Lawrence's Laxmmi Boom, Chandraprakash Dwivedi's Prithiviraj and Rohit Shetty's Sooryavanshi. The release date is however not set in stone due to the COVID-19 crisis.
