There are a few Hindu and Sikh shrines in Pakistan which has a great history. The Indians who want to visit those places must obtain permission from the Pakistan government at any cost. Many people often visit those temples and gurudwaras by getting permission. Now, popular actress Poonam Kaur is trying for the same.
Poonam went to Delhi yesterday for the approval of her and her mother's visas, in order to visit Nanakana Sahib. Only Sikhs get the permissions to cross Gurudwaras in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Poonam also sought permission to visit Katasraj Temple and Saragarhi Fort, as a special request.
Saragarhi Fort is the place where 21 Sikhs martyred themselves while fighting against the British soldiers. The film Kesari got made based on the very same incident. The actress is still waiting for the approval of her request. Once she gets the permission, Poonam will travel to Pakistan, along with her mother, to visit the above-mentioned places.
