In a rather sad incident, popular actor Murali Sharma's mother, Padma Sharma, passed away last night. We hear that Padma Sharma died due to a heart attack at her residence in Mumbai. She was 76.
 
The incident came in as a shocker to Murali Sharma's family. The final rites of Padma Sharma will get held tonight. All his fans, colleagues and the other industry celebrities are sending their condolences to Murali and his family.
 
Murali Sharma was born in a Telugu family settled in Mumbai. He made his debut with the 2002 Dil Vil Pyar Vyar. But it is the 2004 film Main Hoon Naa which brought him fame in Bollywood. After acting in a bunch of Hindi films in the next few years, Murali finally made his Telugu debut with the 2007 film Athidi. He played the antagonist in it. Murali also received a Nandi Award for his performance in the movie. Later, he acted in many notable Hindi and Telugu films like Sunday, Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa, Kantri, Golmaal Returns, 13B, Dabangg, Oosaravelli and Singham.
 
Recently, Murali Sharma got a lot of accolades for his grey shaded character in the film Ala...Vaikunthapurramuloo. His portrayal as Valmiki won huge acclaim. Even the actor admitted the same in an interview. This year, he was also seen in other films like Sarileru Neekevvaru, Street Dancer 3D and HIT. He will be next seen in the movies, Most Eligible Bachelor, A1 Express and Narappa.
