Popular actress Radhika Apte becomes a director with Sleep Walkers short film

Radhika Apte is one of the most talented and versatile actresses working in Indian Cinema currently. She has proved her mettle by acting in acclaimed films like Andhadhun, Parched, Sacred Games, Lust Stories and Padman. She is now all set to debut as a director.

Radhika has directed a 30-minute short film called Sleep Walkers. The shoot of this film got wrapped up just a few days back. Gulshan Devaiah and Shahana Goswami played the lead roles in this short film. MacGuffin Pictures and Colosceum jointly bankrolled this project. The film deals with climate change and how humankind is causing the destruction of it. It will be a thought-provoking film with a strong message, say the producers. Currently, the post-production works are going on. The makers will announce the release details of this film very soon.
