Popular Editor Gautham Raju Passes Away

The Telugu film industry was witness to a tragedy yesterday. Noted editor Gautam Raju (68) passed away. He had been suffering from illness for some time and passed away on Tuesday at midnight. When the news of Gautham Raju's death came to light, there was a shadow of sadness in the film industry. Recently his health has deteriorated. He was treated in a private hospital and discharged. But on Tuesday, his health suddenly deteriorated. With this unfortunate turn of events, Gautham Raju breathed his last at 1.30 pm.

 
Gautham Raju worked as an editor for Hindi films as well as south Indian films. In Telugu, however, he was the preferred editor for blockbuster films of star heroes. Gautham Raju's sharp editing has contributed to the success of many films.
 
His film career started with the film Noi No Lakha. He worked as an editor for around 800 films and left an indelible mark in the film industry. Gautham Raju worked his craft in such a way that the directors were at ease always. Gautham Raju won the Nandi Award as the editor of NTR's Aadi.
 
His recent movies include blockbusters such as Kick, Racehorse, Gopala Gopala, Gabbar Singh, Khaidi No. 150, Balupu, and Adurs.
 
Star celebrities are expressing their grief over the death of Gautham Raju. Condolences to the bereaved family are pouring in from all corners of the industry.
