Mumbai court grants bail to Shilpa Shetty's husband Raj Kundra. His bail is in relation to the pornographic case. The court granted bail to Raj Kundra on a guarantee of Rs 50,000. Ryan Thorpe, a co-accused alongside Raj Kundra, was also granted bail.
Raj Kundra’s arrest was due to the alleged creation of pornography content. . Raj Kundra was arrested on 19th July in relation to the creation of pornography. Earlier, the police described Kundra as the "key conspirator" of the case. The police arrested 11 persons so far in relation to the case.
The bail comes after the businessman filed a bail application in court on Saturday. Kundra argued that he was being made a "scapegoat". He added that the additional charge sheet contained no evidence of his involvement in the development of allegedly dubious content. The crime branch recently filed a supplementary charge sheet against Kundra. This is in connection with the alleged making and distribution of pornographic films.
Meanwhile, after a 13-year hiatus from acting, she returned to the big screen with "Hungama 2." Meezaan and Pranitha Subhash also had lead roles in the film. It was launched on an OTT platform to mixed reviews from critics and the general public.
She will then appear in Sabbir Khan's film "Nikamma." She will share the screen with Abhimanyu Dassani and Shirley Setia in prominent roles.
Shilpa also made her come back as the celebrity judge, on the dancing reality show Super Dancer 4. She took a break from the show following her husband Raj Kundra's arrest in the pornography case.
