Power Star Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback into films after a gap of more than two years. He has already signed three films on the trot last month itself. One is Vakeel Saab which is gearing up for the summer release. Another one is a period drama under the direction of Krish which is in the shooting stages. The last one is a film with director Harish Shankar which will go on floors in the second half of this year. Meanwhile, we hear that Pawan Kalyan is planning to sign one more film as well. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, Pawan Kalyan will act in Puri Jagannath's long-due project Jana Gana Mana.
Puri wanted to make Jana Gana Mana with Superstar Mahesh Babu. He tried a lot but unfortunately, it didn't happen. Puri said in an interview that it is Mahesh who is not showing interest in working with him. Apparently, he is now planning to take that film on floors with Pawan Kalyan as the lead.
It seems that Pawan will be playing the role of a Chief Minister in this movie. Both Pawan and Puri had earlier worked for the films Badri and Camera Man Gangatho Rambabu. If everything falls in place, Jana Gana Mana will go on floors by early next year.
On the other side, Puri Jagannath is planning to finish his next film with Vijay Deverakonda in a couple of months. After that, he will begin the script work for the movie in discussions.
