Arjun Reddy has become a cult film not only among the Telugu audiences but also among the fans of cinema nationwide. It brought nationwide fame to Vijay Deverakonda. Earlier this year, the Hindi version of the film, Kabir Singh got released and became a monstrous hit at the box office.
Now, the Tamil version of it, Aditya Varma
is gearing up for the release tomorrow. Directed by Girisayya, this film features Vikram's son Dhruv and Banita Sandhu as the leads. Earlier, this film had made by acclaimed director Bala. But the producers were unhappy with the rough cut of the film. Immediately, they sacked Bala and changed the entire cast and crew of the film, barring Dhruv.
Girisayya, who worked as an associate director for Arjun Reddy, made Adithya Varma a faithful remake of the original. Already, the teaser and trailer got a good response from the audience. Even though most of the Tamil audiences have watched Arjun Reddy, they are quite kicked about Adithya Varma.
The music scored by Radhan got a rave response as well. Even the Kollywood sources who have watched the film, have praised it. Apparently, Dhruv has done a commendable job, even though it is his maiden film. We have to see how it performs at the box office once it hits the screens tomorrow. Mukesh Mehta bankrolled Adithya Varma under the E4 Entertainments banner.
