President of India calls Ramoji Film City a Mini-India
President of India, Ramnath Kovind has a new found love for Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad, which he visited yesterday.
President of India, Ramnath Kovind landed in Hyderabad a couple of days ago for his annual winter stay at the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, located in the city. The honorable President is currently visiting the city and having a look at the heritage of Hyderabad. In the process, he visited Ramoji Film City the other day.
The President was in the awe of the Film City located on the outskirts of Hyderabad. He was impressed with the huge film facility which witnesses the shoots of multiple films every day. Immediately after his visit, Kovind tweeted, "Visited the Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Over the years, hundreds of films and TV series, in many of our great languages, have been shot here. The Film City which feels like a Mini India is a living testimony to the hard work and creativity of our artists and filmmakers."
Yes, Ramoji Film City is a sort of Mini India. You get a glimpse of various sets and locations in the studio, which are nowhere seen in any other film studio in the country. The President will continue his stay in the city till December 28.
