Prime Minister Narendra Modi mourns the death of Rishi Kapoor

Indian film fraternity got hit by two terrible news in 24 hours. While we are yet to digest the fact that Irrfan Khan is no more, we hear the news that another legendary actor Rishi Kapoor has passed away. The 67-year-old actor breathed his last this morning in Mumbai. He was suffering from leukemia for the last two years. The whole Indian film industry got shell-shocked with the demise of Rishi. Even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mourned the death of the Bobby actor. Modi stated that he is quite anguished by Rishi's demise. Rishi was passionate about films and India's progress.

 
"Multifaceted, endearing, and lively...this was Rishi Kapoor Ji. He was a powerhouse of talent. I will always recall our interactions, even on social media. He was passionate about films and India’s progress. Anguished by his demise. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti," tweeted Modi a while ago.
 
Even many other politicians like Arvind Kejriwal, Hemant Soren, and Omar Abdullah have prayed for the soul of Rishi Kapoor. Rishi tweeted, "Deeply saddened by the sudden demise of actor Rishi Kapoor. He entertained several generations of Indians throughout his career. What a terrible loss. My condolences to the grieving family. May God bless his soul."
 
Former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah tweeted, "From Bobby to Karz to Zamane Ko Dikhana Hai, your movies & some of the dialogues have been such an integral part of my childhood.
