Prince Collection Day 5; Sivakarthikeyan Starrer Shows Drop In Collection

Last Diwali, the Sivakarthikeyan-starring movie "Prince" made its theatrical debut. It was the actor's first Diwali release. The movie's path has been up and down since day one. It is due to the audience's mixed reactions. The latest information on "Prince's" box office performance on Day 5 indicates that Sivakarthikeyan's romantic comedy is still losing money. Prince made about Rs 9 crores in its first two days of release. Now "Prince" struggles to maintain strong attendance over the following few days. The movie's box office performance currently appears to be mediocre.

Sivakarthikeyan's movie reportedly made between Rs 4 and 5 crores on Diwali day (Oct 24). The following day (Oct 25), a working Tuesday, saw even worse for the movie at the box office. On the third day, it only managed to make a little bit less than the day before. In just five days, "Prince" is said to have made about Rs 33 crores worldwide. The remaining days will be more crucial for the movie because they will determine both its reception and its financial success. As per reviews, Sivakarthikeyan is the lone bright spot of the movie. Fans of director Anudeep were dissatisfied because they anticipated a picture better than his previous effort, "Jathi Ratnalu". Fans were let down by his mediocre screenplay. Premgi Amaren and Maria Ryaboshapka both give their best performances in their respective roles. Composer Thaman gave the movie the necessary energy with his score. As per the reports, Sardar is the Diwali winner from Kollywood. But still, both the movies perform average in the box office.
