After Cold Case and Kuruthi, Prithviraj Sukumaran is back with the release of his upcoming film, Bhramam. As reported earlier, Bhramam is the official Malayalam remake of Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu, and Radhika Apte's Andhadhun. The 2019 film, directed by Sriram Raghavan, received critical acclaim and commercial success. Recently, the Telugu film Maestro, the remake of Andhadhun, premiered on Disney+Hotstar. Now, Bhramam is all set to stream on Amazon Prime Video from October 7. Bhramam is directed by Ravi K Chandran and stars Prithviraj, Raashi Khanna, Unni Mukundan, and Mamta Mohandas in lead roles.
In a statement, director Ravi K Chandran said, "I am delighted to collaborate with Amazon Prime Video for this interesting project. Taking the scale of production a notch higher than the original, some unique elements of drama and humor have been weaved in Bhramam along with a heady punch of music that discerningly fits into the narrative. I am happy that we have managed to push the envelope further in terms of cinematography and have brought our creative vision to life with such a nuanced storyline and hopefully, along with a talented team, we have been able to put together a film that will leave the audiences thoroughly entertained.”
