Priyanka Chopra Says Neither She Nor Nick Jonas Are Defined By Each Other, Adds 'I Take Immense Pride In That'

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas, the global power couple, inspire millions of fans with their love story. The couple got married in 2018. Since then, talk highly of each other in the public domain. Recently during a podcast session, Priyanka said that she's proud of her husband Nick but they both are not defined by each other.

When asked if she secretly wished her wedding headlines had 'global sensation Priyanka Chopra marries singer?', she laughed and said, "I take immense pride in the fact that Nick is as multi-hyphenated as probably I am and the fact that we both come to the table as creatives and we draw on each other to become better every day, I don't think either one of us is defined by each other. The media tries to do that more than we do."

While Priyanka Chopra is a global star, Nick Jonas is a pop singer in the band called Jonas Brothers. The two met during an international event and decided to date each other. In the podcast, PeeCee said it's frustrating when the media ignores all your achievements to print gossip material. "I think it is frustrating when all your achievements are blindsided by the gossip side of my life or salacious side of my life which obviously people are excited about what my personal life will be because we're not very public by nature."

"It's a point of frustration but I also know, in pop culture, in the entertainment business, when you're a public person, that kind of curiosity is the part of the job. But I have to, in my own way, draw the line. It's hard to juggle but you've got to be realistic about it."
