On Wednesday night, the Bollywood fraternity got the shocking news of the sudden demise of Wendell Rodricks. Known as a talented and famed fashion designer, Rodricks died at his home in Goa. The fashion designer was also an LGBTQ+ activist who loved animals and the environment.
Rodricks was also active on Twitter where he recently sparked controversy. Back in January, Rodricks criticized Priyanka Chopra's Grammy 2020 outfit. Rodricks wrote on his Twitter handle, "The neckline goes all the way from LA to Cuba." This made the fans of Priyanka angry at Wendell and the controversy even reached the actress's mother.
Madhu Chopra immediately got angry at Rodricks and tweeted out a harsh comment writing, "Wendel Rodricks afraid to admit he was body shaming Priyanka. Such a fake! He covers his legs cos he has varicose veins. Will he cover his face with hijab when he wrinkles up????"
However recently while speaking to an entertainment website, Madhu Chopra shared grief over the loss of Wendell Rodricks. Madhu Chopra said, "We have lost a great, talented man. I couldn't believe yesterday evening that Wendell is no more. He had just brought in two puppies to his house to shelter them. He was an ardent dog-lover. Life is so unpredictable."
She went on to say, "We hold no grudges against Wendell. Disagreements happen and one shouldn't keep it forever. Wendell was a nice guy. Priyanka worked with him in Fashion."
