Anantapur girl Priyanka Jawalkar made her debut with Vijay Deverakonda's Taxiwaala. She became famous with her first film itself, but the actress is no mood to sign whatever films come her way. She is picky in her choices. Thus, she is yet to come out with her second film. She is currently acting in two projects. One of them is Gamanam which is being directed by Sujana. Priyanka is playing the role of a Muslim girl called Zara in the movie.
Priyanka opened up on this film in a recent interview with Deccan Chronicle. She said that she immediately decided to do this film the moment she heard the story. Priyanka said that Zara is a teenage girl who possesses some real emotions. Priyanka said that she prepped up for this film so rigorously that it made her understand what acting is all about. She further added that she might not have realized the bliss of acting if she hadn't signed this film.
Priyanka said that even director Sujana helped her in doing her bit. Both of them spent a lot of time together discussing the role and outfits. Through these conversations, they have also developed an emotional bond with each other. Priyanka also revealed that acting has made her shed a lot of inhibitions.
Priyanka is also venturing into the Tamil film industry with a movie directed by Amruth Raj. She will romance Siddharth in this movie. The actress recalled that she attended auditions only to explore Chennai, and had no expectations. She is happy that the makers have zeroed in on her for the role finally.
