Marvel is gearing up for yet another big release now. Now promotional images showcase a full look at Scarlett Johansson's new costume in the upcoming Black Widow film.
This is the first time Scarlett Johansson's character Black Widow is getting a solo film of her own. Before her character has appeared in many Marvel films including all the Avengers films. Sadly Johansson's character dies after sacrificing her life in the last Avengers film. The upcoming Black Widow films take place before the events of Avengers Endgame. The film is set in Russia as the trailer suggests and will even see some new characters appearing for the first time.
Black Widow has worn various suits in her many appearances. But, fans have pointed out that Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow will wear the most comic accurate costume in the upcoming film. The suit has the Russian spy carrying metal rods that can shock her enemies. Her suit also seems to have other gadgets hidden away from the naked eye.
The official synopsis of the film reads, "In Marvel Studios’ action-packed spy thriller “Black Widow,” Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises. Pursued by a force that will stop at nothing to bring her down, Natasha must deal with her history as a spy and the broken relationships left in her wake long before she became an Avenger."
Black Widow will release all across the world on May 1, 2020.
