Pruthvi Ambaar to star in Shashidhar's directorial debut titled Sugarless

A few days ago, the production house Pushkar Films had revealed that producer Shashidhar is all set to make his directorial debut! Shashidhar, upon realizing his dream of directing a film during the lockdown is now all set to direct his first film. While the news of the upcoming venture was finally announced earlier this week, the question of the cast remained a mystery. Today, Pushkar Films has announced as to who will take on the leading role! Pruthvi Ambaar, the Tulu actor who is now famous for his Kannada film Dia will star in Shashidhar's directorial debut. The film titled Sugarless will follow the life of a man in his late 20s who is diagnosed with diabetes.

On the occasion of Pruthvi Ambaar's birthday today, Pushkar Films announced the news of him starring in the film. Pushkar Films introduced the lead actor by saying, " Pushkar Films is happy to introduce the lead of Sugarless - @pruthvi_ambaar_official and we look forward to this collaboration. Wishing him a very Happy Birthday ! Produced by @disha_entertainments Directed by Shashidhar KM." Pruthvi Ambaar shot to fame with the Sandalwood film Dia that hit the theaters earlier this year. The actor had said that while he is looking forward to starring in Tulu films, he is also focusing on his Sandalwood career. Pruthvi Ambaar had recently spoken of he is now working on two films this year, a Kannada film about a fisherman from Karavali and a Tulu film. Sugarless is yet another film that Pruthvi is now gearing up for!
