Currently, Mega Power Star is busy with Jakkanna’s much-awaited period action drama RRR which is under post-production and slated to release in January 2021. Now that Ram Charan has got time to contemplate on his next project, many names of the directors were considered.
Amidst all the names and rumours about the directors that Ram Charan might collaborate with, Puri Jagannadh's name is very prominent and strongly heard. The chances of Magadheera actor favouring his debut movie Chirutha director are very high. The supposed film will be bankrolled by senior producer KS Rama Rao if given a nod by Chiranjeevi.
Apparently, Puri Jagannadh got permission from Megastar himself, to pen down the script that'll be heard by Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan once the script is ready. Currently, Puri is held up with his current directorial project Fighter, an action drama starring Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Pandey in the lead roles. Karan Johar will be presenting the Hindi version of this film in Bollywood.
Coming back to cherry's next project, as said earlier the Jersey film director Gowtham is also a strong contender in the race. The sources confirmed that when Gowtham narrated the story to Ram Charan, the latter was very happy with it. After all, Gowtham is considered as a fine talent within the Tollywood director's camp.
