Puzha Muthal Puzha Vare Is Being Denied Censorship; Says TG Mohandas

Ramasimhan (Ali Akbar) directed " Puzha Muthal Puzha Vare." This is a film that has been garnering attention since its announcement. TG Mohandas is saying that the Censor Board is not giving the certificate to the film, which has been waiting for the release for a long time. Mohandas also tweeted that Central News and Distribution Minister Anurag Thakur should intervene in the matter.

Sir @ianuragthakur we, from Kerala,were desparately tweeting to get CBFC Certificate to the Malayalam film Puzha Muthal Puzha Vare on 1921 Hindu Genocide. Our requests were ignored. Now the poor producer Ramasimhan has approached KeralaHC. We sadly understand that we are orphans

His tweet was addressed to Anurag Thakur. Recently, TG Mohandas said that the Central Censor Board had suggested some cuts in the film Puzha Muthal Puzha Vare. Ramasimhan had accepted them. He had said that after cutting the scenes if the movie goes bad, everyone will blame Ramasimhan. He added that the movie will not have only Mappila Lahala but only dry rivers as written by ONV. Ali Akbar also announced his film after Aashiq Abu announced Prithviraj as the lead in a film based on the life of Kunjahammad Haji, set in Malabar in 1921. Along with this, directors PT Kunju Muhammad and Ibrahim Vengara have also announced films on the life of Kunjahammad Haji. Directed by PT Kunjumuhammed, the film is titled Shaheed Variamkunnan, and Ibrahim Vengara's film is titled The Great Variamkunnan. 1
