Queen Elizabeth's Health Concerns; Monarch's Role Rewritten

Due to worries for Queen Elizabeth's health, her workload has been lessened. According to the Sunday Telegraph, Buckingham Palace has formally revised the definition of the monarch's duties as head of state to a more simplified one. According to rumors, this is the first official rewrite of the Queen's part in 10 years.

The tasks that she "must fulfill" have now been taken off the list. The 96-year-old queen lately limited her public appearances. This has led to the adjustment in her responsibilities.

Recently, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle arrived in the UK for Queen Elizabeth's platinum jubilee, which included a four-day celebration. Other prominent members of the royal family were also present. Elizabeth opted to enjoy the Trooping the Colour from the Buckingham Palace balcony during the celebrations, and she later skipped additional events because of "discomfort." Due to her infirmities, the queen opted not to attend the Thanksgiving ceremony at St. Paul's Cathedral.

The annual report of the monarchy contained a shift from the 13 bulleted points that have been used to describe Queen Elizabeth's position, according to the Sunday Telegraph. 'The Queen has been counseled by her loved ones and trusted advisors to go a lot lighter on herself, even if it means missing more occasions than she would prefer,' a source told US Weekly in March. The Queen recently traveled to Scotland with Prince Charles for her yearly Holyrood week.
