Raghavendra Rajkumar debuted into Kannada cinema as a child artiste, for the first time he faced the camera for the movie Sri Srinivasa Kalyana which was released in 1974 starred his father Rajkumar in the main lead. He went on to act 24 films since then. Now he is all set to do a thriller based movie for his milestone 25th film. This movie titled Aadisdaatha directed by Phaneesh Bharadwaj, in his career Raganna's first attempt to be part of Thriller movie which stresses on the money. values, ethics.
Phaneesh Bharadwaj has worked with several directors as an associate and it's been 12 years he had come to an industry. His directorial debut movie Mylapura yet to be released. This movie is still in the post-production process. Though his first movie yet to be released, he bagged the second venture which is touted to be a thriller starring Raganna as the main lead. It is really pleasuring Raganna making his come back to the films. I never thought would direct him. It is really a pleasure to direct him at an early point of my career this film becoming my very second directorial venture. Initially, I had a different script to direct him with an underlying social message. Coming to this thriller based movie Aadisdaatha you will see Raganna in totally different space, the role designed in a very unusual way.
Makers are planning to rope in six other characters, supporting cast to the main lead Raganna. They already zeroed on three characters Abhi, Shri, Arjun already confirmed the other actors will be finalized very soon. On Monday movie will have opening ceremony principle shooting will kick off from coming week, will take place in and outskirts of Bengaluru, later on, will visit Mysuru, Madikere and other places for shooting. Manikanth Kadri will be scoring music and Uday Ballal will be working as a cinematographer for this thriller.
