Raj Tarun confirms doing Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Dream Girl' remake in Telugu; Worries about comparison and criticism

Hero Raj Tarun, who had a promising debut with 'Uyyala Jumpala', is still trying his image for experimental films. Along with film like 'Kittu Unnadu Jagrattha', 'Andhagaadu', he did 'Cinema Chupista Mava', 'Kumari 21F' that helped him maintain the crowd-pulling image and do the trade for his image in the market. It looks it's a high time for him to have a mainstream commercial break, he is choosing a Hindi remake now.

In a recent interaction with media on his birthday, which was a couple of days ago, he said he shall be doing the remake of Ayushmann Khurrana’s superhit film 'Dream Girl'. "The film rights are with Suresh Production and Suresh Sir shall be producing the film. This will be a game-changing role for me as I've never done such a role in my career and I might get compared with Ayushmann one the film is out. I have to keep up with all such comparisons & criticism along with my own approach & performance of the character. It a big challenge for me." said Tarun.

Along with this remake, he will do a film under the production of Naga Chaitanya & Samantha, under their own production house, which will mark their debut. And also, he signed for another film for 'Annapurna Studios, under Srinivas Gavireddy direction. They previously collaborated for 'Seethamma Andaalu Ramayya Sitralu, while Annapurna Studios produced Raj Tarun's debut film 'Uyyala Jampala'. This shall be their second collaboration.

Once the lockdown ends, more details on the same comes out.
