While the entire focus of the media is on "Chinnathambi" the tusker who is poised to return to his natural habitat the news pouring from Thailand is about another tusker” Rajabheema”.
"Raja Bheema" is an animal adventurous emotional film starring Arav and a tusker in a principal role. Directed by a debutant director Naresh, it is a film that speaks in volume about the relationship between an elephant and a young man. Certain portions of the film were shot in Pollachi and now the unit is camping in Thailand for the most important segment of the film. For the past 7 days, the entire unit is camping in the Kanchanpuri a thick forest with the blanket of jungle shrubs and huge trees.
A trained elephant by the name Peter is said to be playing the tusker. An important segment involving Arav, the tusker and some stuntmen were shot in the forest recently. During the shoot, Arav was thrown from the elephant during an action sequence. The tall and strongly built, Hero Arav was out of his element for a few minutes. The production unit summoned the paramedical forces Immediately. But even before, the medical forces could arrive the hero was into his normal self and was ready to shoot too.
“This shows the commitment and passion of our hero. Though I’m worried about his well being, I’m glad he had the heart and thoughts for the producer. The shooting is happening at a rapid pace, we will complete the Thai schedule in 15 Days. Back to India, we have one final schedule to shoot and we are aiming for summer release”, declared Producer S.Mohan of Surabi Films.
