Rajinikanth Dissolves Rajini Makkal Mandram; Know Why

Superstar Rajinikanth in 2017 announced that he will enter politics and will take part in the elections for sure. After playing guessing games for three years, he announced that he is backing off from his statement and will not enter politics due to the Covid-19 pandemic and his health. Recently, he went to the Us for a general health check-up and returned to Chennai a few days back. Today (July 12), Rajinikanth met his fan club members who are a part of Rajini Makkal Mandram. He released a statement reconfirming that he is not entering politics and announced the dissolution of Rajini Makkal Mandram.

His statement read, "Unable to enter politics due to health grounds, the fate of RMM came to the fore. It was formed and office-bearers were appointed to pave way for the political foray. RMM is being dissolved." However, fans can continue their service under Rajinikanth Fans Welfare Clubs. He will now concentrate on his upcoming films. A few months ago, Rajinikanth said that he might be acting in films for two years and not more. He is presently waiting to resume the shooting f his upcoming film Annaatthe, which will release on November 4, on the occasion of Diwali.
