Rakesh Roshan says he will begin work on Krrish 4 as soon as Coronavirus lockdown ends

The Krrish franchise is one of the longest-running superhero movies in India. Krrish 3 which released in 2013 starred Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut. While that pair is highly unlikely to return ever again, Krrish 4 is finally on its way to the box office. Filmmaker Rakesh Roshan has confirmed that he will begin shooting for the film as soon as the Coronavirus lockdown ends in the country.

After a highly successful third film in the franchise, Rakesh Roshan initially wanted Krrish 4 to release in 2016. However, due to his own ill health, Rakesh Roshan delayed the film indefinitely. Now after more than 7 years since Krrish 3, Krrish 4 is in the works. Roshan has recovered from his fight against throat cancer and is ready to direct his son once again. The director said, "As soon as everything is fine again, we shall go ahead with the fourth installment of Krrish." The filmmaker began the career of his son all the way back in the year 2000 with the film Kaho Na Pyaar Hai. Recently Hrithik Roshan shared a picture of his father exercising at home even amid the health crisis. He captioned the post writing, "Alone. This seriously is more inspiring to me than anything else. My daily dose . Give him a shout guys ." Currently, the actor is spending his time with his kids at home. Hrithik's ex-wife Sussanne Khan is also working from Hrithik's home as the ex-couple decided to spend time with their kids in such trying times.
