'Kirik Party' is undoubtedly one of the biggest blockbusters in Rakshith Shetty's career. The movie marked the second directorial venture of Rishab Shetty after Ricky. When the film released, there is a huge positive buzz around the film and everyone requested the makers to come up with a sequel for the same. Now, the film's lead Rakshit Shetty opened up on the same.
Rashmika Mandanna and Samyuktha Hegde played the female leads in this film which became one of the highest-grossing Kannada films all the time and celebrated more than 250 days of theatrical run in over 15 theatres. The film also got remade in Telugu as 'Kirrak Party' by Nikhil. Now, from the past few days, we have been hearing that the sequel of Kirik Party is now on cards. Confirming the same, Rakshit Shetty himself has made the official announcement through social media. "I had no certain plans of KP2 until now but I certainly got a perfect plot now... #KirikParties will come back on screen and it will be such a fight..." Tweeted Rakshit Shetty.
So, we can expect that the much-awaited sequel for this film will go on a roll after Rakshit Shetty wraps up his prior commitments. On the other hand, Rakshith Shetty has some interesting projects in his lineup including '777 Charlie', 'Punyakoti', 'Thugs of Malgudi'.
