Rakshit Shetty is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘777 Charlie’. The film, featuring Rakshit along with three labradors, features a road trip all over the country - from Dandeli to Kashmir. It will be simultaneously dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Director Kiranraj K and crew, who are restricted indoors due to the coronavirus outbreak, are busy with the post-production work.
Recently Rakshit Shetty took to Twitter to announce that he will come up with Kirik Party 2. As per sources, Rakshit is planning to have a pan-India appeal for the movie as the film has a universal appeal. It is also said that he asked director Rishib Shetty to fine-tune the script as per the requirement. This film will go on floors only after he completes Sapta Sagaradaache Yello.
Rakshit Shetty shot to fame with Kirik Party which hit the theatres in 2016. The film, directed by Rishab Shetty, created a new history of Kannada cinema. Set in a college backdrop, Kirik Party took the audience on a nostalgic trip down the memory lane. The film features Rakshit Shetty, Rashmika Mandanna, Samyuktha Hegde and Achyuth Kumar in the lead roles. Kirik Party is one of the highest-grossing films of Sandalwood.
