Ram Charan's Racha completes eight years of its release today

Mega Power Star Ram Charan made a striking debut with the 2007 film Chirutha. He then scored an industry hit with his second film Magadheera. After that, Charan came up with Orange in 2010. This film was released with many expectations, but failed miserably at the box office. This is technically the first flop of Charan. To strike back hard at any cost, Charan took a one and a half year break and came up with "Racha" in 2012. This film gave that much needed hit for Charan. Racha celebrates its 8 years release anniversary today. On this occasion, let us have a recap into the film.

Racha got directed by Sampath Nandi. It was his second feature film, after "Yemaindhi Ee Vela". Tamannaah played the female lead in the film. This is the first film featuring the combination of Charan and Tamannaah. Racha traces the story of a rookie called Betting Raj. One day, Raj takes up a bet to woo Chaitra. What changed his life during the process forms the rest of the story. The chemistry of Charan and Tamannaah is the big plus of the movie. Mukesh Rishi, Ajmal Ameer, and R. Parthipen played the other important roles in the movie.

The music composed by Mani Sharma was also a big hit. Songs like Vaana Vaana, the Racha title song, and Dillaku were big chartbusters at that time. The sizzling chemistry between Charan and Tamannaah in Vaana Vaana is still remembered by many audiences. RB Choudary bankrolled Racha under the banner Super Good Films. The fans are celebrating the 8 years anniversary of Racha by trending the hashtags #8YearsForRacha and #8YrsForMassSensationRACHA.
