On Wednesday Bollywood lost one of its most versatile actors in Irrfan Khan. Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor
was also admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai on the same day. There is no reason published yet for his hospitalization.
Speaking to News 18 Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news over his brother's ill health. He said, "It's true that he has been admitted to the hospital. He is in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. He was not keeping well and had some problem, so we admitted him early this morning."
Randhir did not confirm if Rishi Kapoor is in a serious condition. He added saying, "That's why he has gone to the hospital. But I know that he will be alright. Neetu (Kapoor) is by his side."
Rishi Kapoor returned to India in September 2019. Previously he was getting treatment in the US after getting diagnosed with cancer. He was in the US for almost a year before returning to India.
Rishi Kapoor was once again hospitalized in February when he got an infection due to pollution in Delhi. In February Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter to share news over his health with his fans. He said, "Dear family, friends, foes and followers. I have been overwhelmed by all your concern about my health. Thank you. I have been filming in Delhi past 18 days and because of the pollution and my low count of neutrophils, I caught an infection whereby I had to be hospitalised."
Rishi Kapoor is next going to appear in a remake of the Hollywood film The Intern. The film also stars Deepika Padukone
