Rangasthalam snubbed at the National Awards

Rangasthalam snubbed at the National Awards

Recently, 66th National Awards was announced many Telugu films emerged victoriously. Mahanati, Awe and Chi La Sow won awards in respective categories and made Tollywood proud.

However, Ram Charan’s fans and Telugu movie lovers feel that Charan’s performance and Rangasthalam have been snubbed at the National Awards. While Mahanati deserves it, Ram Charan equally deserved Best Actor award too.

His performance as Chitti Babu, a hearing-impaired person was one of the sole reasons for the film’s massive success at the box office. Not belittling Ayushman and Vicky Kaushal performances but Ram Charan's acting in Rangasthalam is way better than both of theirs put together. As always regional cinema looked down upon for obvious reasons to the extent that actors becoming scapegoats every year. If not Best Actor, the film deserved Best Production Design.

For the film, the makers recreated the entire Jubilee Hills and it looked so real on-screen. Also, Sukumar’s screenplay is better than Chi La Sow’s screenplay. Hence his fans stated that Rangasthalam has been snubbed.
