A lover of animals, Rashmi Gautham took to her Instagram Story to ask people to show compassion towards animals.

Anyone who takes a look at Rashmi Gautham's social media can see that the actress advocates for animals very often. Stray animals have a hard time on the streets; the lockdown has made things worse for them. Rashmi who is best known for hosting Extra Jabardasth has come forward to vocieout for the voiceless. Rashmi came to the defense of these animals as she took to her Instagram Story to ask people to be compassionate towards animals with or without the lockdown.

 
Rashmi Gautham wrote, "Lockdown has almost come to an end but the voiceless around need our help constant HELP and SUPPORT. So let's keep doing our bit lockdown or not lockdown. COMPASSION is here to stay."
 
Rashmi recently shared a post regarding the adoption of a puppy. She then shared two more posts of accounts that were looking out for stray dogs. This led her to urge people to show compassion towards the animals around us.
 
Rashmi recently shared several videos of her feeding stray dogs during the lockdown to encourage others to do the same.
 
On the work front, Rashmi Gautham was last seen in the 2019 film Sivaranjani. The film was a horror flick. The film was directed by Naaga Prabhakkar. Padmanabha Reddy and Nalla Ayyanna Nayudu produced the film under the U&I Entertainments banner. Apart from Rashmi, the film also featured actors Nandu, Dhanraj, Nandini Rai and Akhil Karthik in the lead roles. She has been hosting TV Shows Dhee and Extra Jabardasth for a while now. She is yet to announce what her next venture will be.
