Rashmika Mandanna has finally joined her co-star Sidharth Malhotra on the sets of her Bollywood debut film Mission Manju. Sidharth Malhotra has been shooting for the film for the last few weeks. With Rashmika on the sets, the cast and crew can work on her portions of the film. Rashmika took to her social media to share a sneak peek from the sets in Lucknow.
Rashmika Mandanna shared a boomerang of her holding a clapboard that reads Mission Manju Day 1. Mandanna is standing in front of a shelf of clothes. The setting of the photo looks like a shop. She is wearing a salwar kameez and sporting a neatly tied up hairdo.
Earlier, Rashmika had shared a photo with Sidharth and written, "“Ahhhh… I sooooo can’t wait to join my team. Let the mission start!!! #MissionMajnu." Rashmika has now finally begun shooting for the film!
Speaking about Mission Manju, the film is set in the 1970-80s era and is a spy thriller. Inspired by true events, Mission Manju will showcase a covert mission that changed the relationship between India and Pakistan. Written by Parveez Shaikh, Aseem Arora and Sumit Batheja, Mission Majnu marks Shantanu Bagchi's directorial debut.
On the work front, Rashmika has a list of upcoming films. Rashmika was recently shooting for her upcoming film Pushpa. Rashmika is also making her Tamil debut in Karthi's Sultan. Rashmika also has Aadaalloo Meeku Johaarlu in her kitty. Sharwanand is the male lead of the film. Sidharth Malhotra will next appear in Vikram Batra's Shershaah and the slice of life comedy Thank God.
