RAW - Romeo Akbar Walter was shot in a very little span of time
Normally these days when a star is onboard mostly the unit looks for outdoor shooting to shoot a film and if the actions sequences to be shot it almost takes 70days to shoot at a minimum. On the contrary John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter was shot in a very little span of time. Termed as RAW was shot in 46 days of times. This is very shocking at the same time very inspirational too.
Not only shooting the movie in less span of time but the movie was shot in 14 different cities, from which 10 were from Gujarat. Director Robbie shares this news by saying we were actually planned for 49 days of shoot however able to complete the entire shoot in advance because of our planning the shoot in well in advance. However, most of our shoot was in outdoors which made a bit easy to complete the shoot.
Robbie also states 'The advertising background ingrained into your DNA as you bring to fore this whole level of detailing well in advance. we just had two to two and a half months at a maximum at our disposal and during this duration, we had to pick dates and wrap up the film. Also, we didn’t have the luxury to wait for five days at one location with a 250 member crew. We had to do it right the first time'.
Director Robbie adds that 'One thing I can be blunt is that technically Romeo Akbar Walter is effective. However, the technical details will only be elevated if the story works with the public. I can be sure that people will connect and will be proud of being Indian. This movie will be an eventful film for all the heroes who sacrificed themselves for the nation. I hope this movie liked by larger sections of people.
