In the new wave of Telangana based films, we have seen many such movies in the last four years. The recent one among them is Pressure Cooker, directed by Sujoi and Sushil. This film has hit the screens on February 21. It will get streamed exclusively on Aha platform from today.
Even though Pressure Cooker released amidst decent expectations, it couldn't live up to them and became a failure at the box office. The director duo couldn't succeed well in implementing their ideas on the big screen. The film featured Sai Ronak and Preethi Asrani in the lead roles. Rahul Ramakrishna, Rajai Rowan, CVL Narasimha Rao, Kireeti, Ravi Varma, Sangeetha and Tanikella Bharani have essayed the other important roles in the movie.
Pressure Cooker traces the life of a youngster whose father's dream is to send him to America. Meanwhile, he comes across a girl who makes him realize what his own dreams are. Did he go after his dream or his father's dream? is the main story of this film.
Pressure Cooker released amidst the huge buzz and a decent promotional campaign. Unfortunately, the film did not get the desired response from the audiences at the box-office. Let us hope that the audiences like the film on the digital platform.
Nagesh Bannell and Anith have handled the cinematography of the film. Smaran, Rahul Siplgunj, Sunil Kashyap and Harshavarhsan Rameshwar have composed various songs of this movie. People who have missed it in the theatres can now catch it on Aha streaming platform.
