Telugu audiences need no introduction to Renu Desai. She is an actress, model, costume designer, writer, producer, and director. After separating from her husband Pawan Kalyan, Renu is staying with her kids in Pune. From the last few months, it is being heard that Renu is planning to make her comeback into films. Recently, she got asked about the same in a television interview. Renu said that she has plans of making an acting comeback. She also said that she is willing to play mother to Mahesh Babu and Prabhas as well, but only on one condition.
Speaking in the interview, Renu Desai said that she has no qualms to act as a mother to either Mahesh Babu or Prabhas. But she said that the character should have a strong arc and backstory in the film. This statement from Renu Desai is quite surprising considering the fact that she is younger than both the actors. Earlier, it got stated that Renu is playing a key role in the biopic of Tiger Nageshwara Rao. Renu denied the news as a rumor. In fact, even that film didn't go on floors till now.
Renu's last screen appearance was in the 2003 film Johnny. She made her directorial debut with the 2014 movie Ishq Wala Love. She was also the producer of this movie. This romantic comedy featured her son Akira Nandan in a cameo role. She is currently planning to do a film on the plight of farmers and agriculture in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
