Neetu Chandra is a popular actress in the Indian film industry. In a career spanning over 15 years, she has acted in many films in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil languages. This talented actress turns 36 today. On this occasion, we give you an insight into her career.

 
Neetu was born in Patna, Bihar. She completed her schooling in Patna and did her graduation in Delhi. During her college days, Neetu started modeling. She appeared in various ad-films during her graduation. Neetu started off her film career with the 2003 film Vishnu. She played a supporting role in the movie. She then acted in the 2005 movie Garam Masala. Directed by Priyadarshan, this film featured Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Rimi Sen and Neha Dhupia in the lead roles. The film was a success at the box office. Her 2006 Telugu film Godavari brought Neetu wide acclaim. In the following year, she acted in another acclaimed film Traffic Signal.
 
In Hindi, Neetu acted in notable films like Oye Lucky Lucky Oye, Rann, Apartment, 13B, No Problem and Kuch Luvv Jaisaa. In Telugu, she acted in Satyameva Jayate and Manam. In Tamil, she acted in the films like Aadhi Bhagavan, Vaigai Express and Brahma.com. Neetu also produced films like Deswaa and Mithila Makhaan. The latter won National Award under the category Best Maithili Film. It is also the first Mythili movie from Bihar and Jharkhand to get a National Award.
