Actors Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan paid their last tribute to Irrfan Khan after the news of his untimely demise shocked the nation. Shah Rukh Khan shared a black and white picture with the actor and wrote a few words for him. Shah Rukh wrote, "My friend...inspiration & the greatest actor of our times. Allah bless your soul Irrfan Bhai... will miss you as much as cherish the fact that you were part of our lives.

“पमै ाना कहेहैकोई, मखै ाना कहेहै दुनया तरे आखँ को भी, या या ना कहेहै” Love u."

Salman Khan too took to his social media handle to share a picture of himself with Irrfan Khan. Along with the picture, Salman said that the industry has lost one of the finest actors. He wrote, "Big loss to the film industry, his fans, all of us n especially his family. My heart goes out to his family. May God give them strength. Rest in peace brother u shall always be missed n be in all our hearts."

In the official statement that stated the news, it read that Irrfan's health suddenly deteriorated on Tuesday. He suffered a colon infection and couldn't recover from it. As soon as the shocking news broke out, actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and others paid their condolences to the family
