During a recent promotional trip to Kolhapur, Riteish Deshmukh addressed rumours that members of his team had misbehaved with a journalist during a media event.
Riteish Deshmukh, who began his career in Bollywood, is now a well-known figure in the Marathi film industry as well. His upcoming film Ved, which is anticipated to be a replica of the South Indian movie Majili, would mark his directorial debut. Genelia D'Souza makes her acting debut in Marathi with this movie. The actor decided to go to Kolhapur's famous Mahalakshmi Temple to ask the Goddess' blessings as the film's release date drew close. However, recent allegations indicated that the star's team abused a journalist who attempted to meet him for a meeting.
According to reports, a journalist tried to see the celebrity for a photo opportunity. Riteish Deshmukh's PR crew is alleged to have mistreated the man and even kicked him out of the hotel. Riteish Deshmukh addressed the event during a media interaction that was held in Kolhapur after reports of the incident first surfaced, and he expressed his team's regret on their behalf. He remarked, “I apologize if you feel that you have been insulted by us. I had not organized any meetings. I have been married for 11 years, but we did not come to take a darshan (of the temple) together. So, we came to visit the temple. This is not the place to talk about movies. May the blessings of Mahalakshmi be upon you.”
Regarding Ved, it is a remake of the Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu blockbuster Majili. It also marks Jiya Shankar's acting debut. Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza are making a comeback on the big screen. In the dance "Ved Lavlay," Salman Khan makes a special appearance in the movie. On December 30, it is anticipated to open in theatres.
