Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh is now working on his passion project which depends upon the life of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The actor recently revealed that he is very excited to work on this project and he and the rest of the team are all busy working. The film is being directed by Nagraj Manjule who also directed the critically acclaimed Marathi film Sairat.
The film which depends upon Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is a trilogy and will release around the country in various languages. Deshmukh recently talked about how he is happy that viewers are getting to experience historical epics on the big screen.
The actor further added saying, " I've been wanting to make this film for a long time. I'm extremely excited to collaborate with Nagraj, who is one of the finest directors that we have in the country. "
In the same interview with various reporters the actor said, " As far as the success of Tanhaji or the success of any film is concerned, I feel it definitely adds to other films because it gives a boost to historical films or films in general for people to go to the theatre and come and experience it on the big screen. We are working hard. Hopefully, it'll be on floors (soon). "
Deshmukh will next be seen on the big screen in the Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 3 where he plays an honest Indian cop. Deskhmh's character gets kidnapped by Syrian terrorists who Tiger Shroff has to fight.
