RJ Balaji says Mookuthi Amman will be a career defining film for Nayanthara

RJ Balaji made his acting debut in Sundar C’s Theeya Velq Seiyanum Kumar. He went on to act in multiple films as a comedy actor and now he is turning a new lease of life by turning director for the film Mookuthi Amman. The film starring Nayanthara is co directed by NJ Saravanan.

In a recent update, RJ Balaji took to Twitter to reveal that the film wrapped up in just 44 days. In a recent statement, RJ Balaji spoke at length about the film. He said, “We kick-started the shooting on November 29, 2019 and have completed 90 per cent shooting in 44 days. We will be wrapping up the entire shoot with a one-week schedule in Chennai, which will start by this month.”

He also praised producer Ishwari Ganesh and said, “With a producer like Dr Ishari K Ganesh on our side, how can we expect the prevalence of tension and pressure in our ambience. Naturally, the only pressure that prevailed on the sets was to be genuinely since.”

Balaji further added, “If not for the support of NJ Saravanan, who is directing the film alongside, this would have not been possible. Nayanthara has given her best and celebrated as one of the emblematic films in her career. I am not exaggerating, but the way she has taken this film devotedly has been enhancing our vision to a greater degree."
