Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, which marked the directorial debut of actor Madhavan, hit the theaters on 1st July. Ram Muthuram Cinemas, a popular theater based in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, has reportedly requested the district management to screen the film for school students free of cost. Touched by the gesture, R Madhavan has expressed gratitude to Ram Muthuram, the theater owner, through his Twitter account.
Rocketry: The Nambi Effect is the biopic of Nambi Narayanan, a popular scientist, and his battle for justice, after getting charged with treason. Nambi Narayanan, a former ISRO scientist, and an aerospace engineer is profiled in the movie. He was suspected of being a spy in his prime, casting a shadow over his whole life. He struggled for justice for many years, and the film follows his life and quest. At the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Rocketry: The Nambi Effect earned outstanding acclaim. In the movie, Madhavan portrays Nambi Narayanan. Reviews and reactions to the film have been outstanding. Along with Simran, Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Gulshan Grover, Karthik Kumar, and Dinesh Prabhakar, the movie also stars Phyllis Logan, Vincent Riotta, and Ron Donachie. In Rocketry, Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya make cameo appearances. The movie, which was made by Hollywood production company 27 Way Investments and Madhavan's Tricolor Films, is currently running with great success in theaters all over the world.
