Shahid Kapoor, the talented Bollywood actor, has been keeping himself busy with a number of exciting projects in the post-pandemic world. After finishing his work on the film "Jersey", Shahid has been working on two projects for the digital world. It includes the Raj and DK directed "Farzi" and Ali Abbas Zafar's directorial venture "Bloody Daddy".
He then went on to shoot for an untitled romantic comedy for Dinesh Vijan alongside the lovely Kriti Sanon. It has now been revealed that Pooja Hegde has been cast as the female lead opposite Shahid Kapoor in the film.
According to a source close to the development, "Rosshan and Siddharth wanted to go ahead with a fresh casting and they have zeroed in on Pooja Hegde to play the female lead alongside Shahid Kapoor. It’s an action thriller and the team is excited to take it on floors". The film has been titled "Koi Shaq," which fits well with the theme of the movie, a whodunit action thriller. Siddharth Roy Kapur is producing the film with Zee Studios.
The source also revealed that the film was supposed to begin shooting on May 8th. But the shooting schedule has been delayed. The team, however, is excited to start filming and will set a new shooting schedule soon. Shahid is also slated to do a comedy with Anees Bazmee for Dil Raju. Although Shahid has yet to decide on his dates, there is a high possibility that he will start shooting the Anees Bazmee film before the thriller. The source stated that they would have a clearer picture of his shooting diary in the next 15 days.
