The on-screen duo of Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt is unquestionably one of the most adored. Together, they made their big-screen debut in Karan Johar's Student of the Year. After that, they worked on blockbusters like Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, both directed by Shashank Khaitan. The Dulhania franchise's initial part came out in 2014, while the second one came out three years later. It has been discovered that the creators intend to create a third installment in this successful franchise.
The Dulhania franchise holds a very special place in the hearts of Karan, Varun, Alia, and Shashank, and the cast is eager to reunite for part three. Although they have had some internal discussions about various concepts, they have not yet completed the script. They will work out the other technicalities once the story has been finalized. The third movie, like the first two, would thrive on romance, admirable characters, and the overall innocence of the plot and the characters, says a source familiar with the project.
Varun had already openly talked about the idea of working with Alia once more. The Bhediya actor has previously expressed his desire to collaborate with Alia and hinted that it might take place in the future. “She is someone who is very close to my heart, and we share incredible chemistry. You can't just make that today. We are good friends, we care for each other, and respect each other. I actually want to work with Alia again. I think it will happen, maybe sometime in the future,” Varun said.
