Star hero Chiyaan Vikram's son Dhruv Vikram made his debut last year with the film Adithya Varma. This is an official Tamil remake of Telugu hit film Arjun Reddy. Adithya Varma was a flop venture at the box office. Meanwhile, we now hear that Dhruv Vikram is planning to quit films soon.
This shocking news is currently doing rounds in the Kollywood media. According to the sources, Dhruv was quite upset with the debacle of Adithya Varma. He is planning to quit the films as of now and take a long break. Apparently, he wants to get the acting nuances right and will soon get signed up in a film school. The sources claimed that the star kid will comeback into films once he is confident enough.
Adithya Varma was earlier directed by acclaimed filmmaker Bala. The producers were unhappy with Bala's version and immediately sacked the director and the rest of the cast and crew of it. They recruited Girisayya as the director and made Adithya Varma. A whole new cast and crew got appointed for the new version. Dhruv was the only constant in both the versions. Unfortunately, even after such hard work, Adithya Varma has flopped at the box office. Thus, Dhruv has decided to call it done.
As of now, these are only speculations and we have to see how things progress and if this is really going to become true.
In the other news, the producers have confirmed that they will release Bala's version soon.
